Kardashian recounts night of terror in court

Nearly nine years after she was robbed at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian took the stand in a Paris courtroom on Tuesday, recounting her fear, trauma, and survival during the infamous $10 million jewelry heist.

“I absolutely thought they were going to kill me,” Kardashian testified, describing how armed robbers stormed her hotel room in October 2016, bound her with zip ties, and took off with cash, jewelry, and a $4 million engagement ring gifted by Kanye West.

‘I was sure he was going to rape me,’ Kardashian says

In graphic detail, Kardashian described the psychological torment she experienced:

“I was naked under the robe. Everything was exposed, and I was sure he was going to rape me,” she said, adding, “I said a prayer and got ready for it to happen… but he closed my legs and taped them.”

She also feared her sister Kourtney Kardashian and stylist Simone Harouche would find her dead body.

Witness testimonies describe post-heist trauma

Harouche, who testified earlier the same day, recalled hiding in a bathroom and texting Kardashian’s bodyguard Pascal Duvier. After the robbers fled, she found Kardashian “hysterical” and terrified they might return.

“She came into my room with tape around her feet, screaming, asking if we needed to jump out the window,” Harouche said.

Following the incident, Harouche left her styling career behind, citing fears over celebrity-related risks.

Ringleader apologizes; Kardashian offers forgiveness

During the testimony, the judge read aloud a handwritten letter from 68-year-old Aomar Aït Khedache, the alleged ringleader, expressing remorse:

“I want to come to you as a man and say how much I regret my act.”

Kardashian responded emotionally: “I forgive you, but it doesn’t change the emotion and the trauma.”

Trial timeline and expected verdict

The trial began on April 28 and is scheduled to run until May 22, with a verdict expected on May 23. If convicted, several defendants could face up to 30 years in prison.
